Description:

While teas of the Kandy Region are lesser-known in Sri Lanka, they tend to be of exceptional quality. This tea has a bold leaf style and is grown at a medium elevation. Popular in breakfast blends, this tea has a beautiful smoothness and a deep chocolatey profile. It works very well with milk.

Brew:

Add 2 teaspoons and Steep at 100C for 3.5 – 4 minutes.

Black Tea (Camellia Sinensis)

How to drink:

This black tea is well balanced and can be served with milk or without milk. If you choose to drink it black it is best to reduce the steeping time to approximately 3 minutes to ensure the tannins don't become overpowering.
